General Conference Week.... Wow

Hello all,

Was General Conference amazing or what?! It was CRAZY The spirit was radiating off of President Russell M. Nelson as he talked to us as a Prophet of God! If you didn't have a testimony of Living Prophets and revelation in today's world before this weekend, you better have one now! President Nelson proved to the world this weekend that God speaks to us through him, a living Prophet! It's amazing! The church is headed in a great direction. With a focus on ministering to others with love as the Savior would, we will achieve great things! I loved General Conference so much. The first presidency pretty much got up there and said "Hey guys.. This is what's happening.. Here is what we need to do.. And here is how it's going be. And here is what you need to do to achieve this!" I loved how upfront they were. They got the job done! It's so good to hear the Prophets voice again. He is called of God. And I know now more than ever that, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's church on the earth today. The Lord truly is hastening his work and the prophecies are being fulfilled. It has been proven to us in this last General Conference!!

        This past week was a slower week with the work aspect due to meetings and general conference. But I had a good time with everything that went on. This week zoomed by. We have had a lot of lessons this week and found some potential investigators.  The time is starting to get faster and faster. Which is weird and cool at the same time! I never thought the day would come. Haha

We went on exchanges with the Woodstock Virginia Zone leaders this week and I had a great time! We accidentally locked ourselves out of the apartment in Woodstock.. I was with Elder Zuniga in Woodstock! It was actually really fun! I loved it and would for sure serve in Woodstock.

We also had interviews with President this last week and president asked me if I was ready to lead out Romney! He told me that Elder Brown would most likely be leaving and that I would be taking over the area.. We will see how it goes!

I also finished the Book of Mormon and I loved it! It was my third time finishing on my mission and I love it more and more each time. Every time I finish I am continually assured that it is true. It's amazing. Just like President Eyring said.. It's much much more important what We feel from the Holy Ghost.. Rather then what we see. The Holy Ghost gives lasting impressions that are undeniable and hard to forget. The Book of Mormon testifies of the reality of the Saviors Redeeming Love. I Love the book!! I am looking forward to reading it more! 

                 For Easter this year it didn't feel like Easter at all.. Haha we woke up and studied and went to the church to watch General Conference! Unfortunately.. No members invited us over to watch it with them haha so we had to cram into a tiny clerks office and watch all the sessions on the computer! But I took some good notes and I am looking forward to studying and applying what President Nelson has taught us!
